Meninists are not actually doing anything for men’s rights

Meninism is apparently the latest fad in equality for men. Except, of course, for the lack of equality activism — by standing up for men of color, transgender men, gay men and disabled men just for a few examples. It is true that certain issues that meninists bring up should be acknowledged, such as the overlooked suicide and domestic violence victim rates of males; however, the source of many of these issues often links back to traditional gender roles that men continue to uphold. Others are simply illogical, like the overwhelmingly high ratio of male to female combat deaths, since women weren’t allowed to serve in combat until 2013.
