Preview of boys lacrosse

Coach: C.J. Toy

Last year record (results in league/CCS): 4-8 (league) 4-16 (overall)

2015 season recap: Last year’s lacrosse team suffered from a lack of experienced athletes and upperclassmen. With many first-time players, the team was forced to devote the bulk of its time to learning the basics and learning to act and play as a team.

Key Additions:

Key returning athletes: senior Quincy Owyang, junior Aiden Peck

Key losses to graduation: Connor Peebles

League: De Anza League

Prognosis: With a developing team, the boys’ lacrosse players are hoping for a season that sees a significant improvement from the previous one. “Last year we were very disorderly and the worst team to play because of our rudeness,” senior forward Quincy Owyang said. “We are hoping for a better season with [an] improved attitude and for a better performance compared to last year.”
