Retired soccer legend to join MAP Speaker Series February 13, 2017 — by Ethan Ko Soccer legend Danielle Slaton will be presenting in the SHS Library as part of the Media Arts Program (MAP) Speakers Series on March 1. A 2000 Olympics Silver Medalist and a Bronze Medalist of the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Slaton will be speaking about the lessons she learned as a professional sports player. Senior Ryan Westman, member of the MAP, is helping coordinate the series this year.
